Please join us for "The 2nd Annual Wilton Republican Town Committee, Constitution Day Barbeque" at Trackside in Wilton, CT on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 1-5 p.m.

In celebration of  this significant day, the Wilton Republican Town Committee is hosting a Family Barbeque. Cost is Families $50;  $25 per person & $20 for seniors.  Come join your Republican town and state leaders for a day of food, drinks, silent auction and games for all ages.

Constitution Day and Citizenship Day are both observed annually in America.  On this special day, the nation commemorates the signing of the United Sates Constitution on September 17, 1787. It recognizes all who have become US citizens either by birth or naturalization. This day also reminds us of our responsibility as citizens to up hold the principles bedded in the Constitution. In an effort to create “a more perfect union” the framers worked to create a document  that would protect individual human rights and provide a balance between  federal and state interests.

And for those with kids playing Saturday morning sports, consider this.... For a modest sum you can feed the family (Mom and Dad don't have to cook)!

It is also a great opportunity to meet your fellow Wiltonians who volunteer so much of their time and effort to serve on our boards and commissions.
