Constitution Day and Citizenship Day are both observed annually in America.  On this special day, the nation commemorates the signing of the United Sates Constitution on September 17, 1787. It recognizes all who have become US citizens either by birth or naturalization. This day also reminds us of our responsibility as citizens to up hold the principles bedded in the Constitution. In an effort to create “a more perfect union” the framers worked to create a document  that would protect individual human rights and provide a balance between  federal and state interests.
