The President will attend a fundraiser reception at the Stamford Marriott at 6 p.m. before heading back to Westport for a gathering where about 50 people are expected to attend. "The Dark Knight Rises" actress Anne Hathaway and "The Newsroom" creator Aaron Sorkin will co-host the event at Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein's 8,900 square-foot home. Governor Dannel P. The home was built in 1909, but Weinstein did not come into ownership of the property until 1994, when he paid $4.2 million for the spead, according to Courant.com's Property Line. Weinstein reportedly owns the neighboring property at 28 Beachside Ave. The value of the entire estate is $15.5 million.

The White House has reserved Sherwood Island State Park in order for Obama to have a quick and convenient entrance to, and exit from Fairfield County. The state beach will be closed for the entire day.

This guy flies around on our tax dollar to raise funds for himself and his awkward cronies.

Until anyone comes up with a better message, we are voting for Obama. Believe it or not, as middle class citizens we are better than we were four years ago. We also have foreign terrorism under control. The problem is now domestic terrorism. Any suggestions from any Charleton Heston fans?

Debt, debt and more debt. Please refer to the national debt clock. He will insert government into everything we do...and we'll be taxed to no end to support a bloated, self serving government...ending personal, freedoms. He will continue to circumvent Congress to get his own way. George Soros & co will have succeeded in destroying the last remaining nation that espouses individual freedom. Who will take our place?

Actions and accountability are what is required, not just slogans, words, or messages. Yet this is a President who told an audience, if they bring a knife to a fight, you bring a gun. Great message? No, it isn't, it is more than disappointing, it is frightening. The results from his and liberal policies have been disastrous, policies that can be traced back to a lack of common sense, lack of accountability, and lack of transparency. Staying this course will have equally disastrous effects.

Frankly, I fear my government for its reckless ways more than I fear any invader. At least, with an invader we know who the enemy is. With Obama, half the country think he's the answer. Women need to understand he threatens your family's wellbeing.

How you vote depends on your comfort level. There are many of us who refuse to be seduced by the four-year Pied Pipers who promise Rainbow Stew and serve gruel. Especially in New Canaan, we pretty much know the moves of people like Romney. The key question is deep down, how much do you trust Obama. It’s not a racial question, it’s a radical question. What is he? It’s not what he says. It’s what will he do? If he changes a complicated matter like the health care system too quickly, unforseen calamities could happen. Many of us listen carefully to his plans to improve things, but have a great deal of unease about him as the leader of improvement. Many of us feel the market does not solve everything but the government screws up many things it touches. Does government work anymore? Does it require people to pretend it works and then muddle through? There is a growing unease and partisan spitball fights aren’t going to calm the unrest.

The hypocrisies of the current administration and the team supporting it - no transparency, disregard for and selection application of laws, uncivil words and actions, cover-ups, elitist perspectives, (research the new Obama directive on the WARN act regarding notification of workers' job eliminations), ... - should give anyone a clear picture.
