Backyard Composting Workshop

Alexis Wilcox, Master Composter and owner of Duck Truck Composting, returns to Millstone Farm to demonstrate how to put your food scraps, yard trimmings, and fallen leaves to good use by composting at home.

Learn how to make low-cost compost bins from reclaimed materials, what to compost and why, the big benefits of little red wigglers, and of course, what to do with all that “black gold”!

We’ll also take a tour of the farm, talk about our composting system, and have worms available for purchase so you can start composting as soon as you get home.

Find out what's happening in Wiltonwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

The workshop is $30 per person and payment is required in advance to hold your spot. Space is limited so please RSVP to katie@millstonefarm.org or call 203.834.2605.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
