Cornell University Veterinary Specialists Pet Owner Education Session

Sunday, June 12, 2-3:30 PM: For the Love of Bones: Common Orthopedic Conditions in Small and Large Breed Dogs, Dr. Alon Kramer, DVM, DACVS

Has your dog experienced lameness in the rear or front leg?  You may think that he or she is just getting old or they “sprained their leg.”   In fact, our canine friends can have various orthopedic injuries and developmental conditions that require more care than just resting for day or two. The program will provide you with an overview of common orthopedic conditions, their possible treatments, and what symptoms to look for in identifying conditions such as hip or elbow dysplasia, dislocating or luxating kneecaps, bone and cartilage conditions, ligament injuries and traumatic fractures.

If you are interested in attending any of our free pet health educational sessions, please call 203-595-2777 or email us at info@cuvs.org .  Space is limited and reservations are required for attendance. All classes are held at CUVS. Please check www.cuvs.org  often for session updates.
