Earth Day celebration, Connecticut Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) Daniel C. Esty will speak on “Protecting our Environment in Turbulent Times”

In honor of Earth Day celebration, Connecticut Commissioner of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) Daniel C. Esty will speak on “Protecting our Environment in Turbulent Times” on Sunday, April 21 at Trackside at 2 p.m. 

      “Connecticut is committed to serving as a national model on how an integrated approach to energy and the environment can best protect the public health and our natural resources – and also contribute to economic growth and job creation,” said Mr. Esty.   Earth Day will also include a dedication of the Wilton Y’s new wellness park and a family fun bike ride. 

Come join the earth day celebration of the new wellness park dedication at noon and enjoy a fun run, a cash mob for local stores and light refreshemnts prior to Commissioner Esty's talk.
