'No Bullying' Presentation for Parents

The hosts a presentation, "Bullying, Cyberbullying and Name-Calling: What Children Wish Their Parents Knew," 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, in the Brubeck Room. Parents of children in grades K-8 are invited to attend. The program is free.

Marji Lipshez-Shapiro, Anti-Defamation League (ADL) Director of Education, will share the insights she has gained from working with young people across Connecticut through the ADL "Names Can Really Hurt Us" program, and explain the four key roles played in the bullying process. Prevention and intervention strategies for parents will be discussed.

This presentation is made possible by the Steve and Alison Sherman Family Fund, and is supported by Wilton Parent Connection, Wilton PTA Council, and United Way of Coastal Fairfield County.
