Reading Rangers Introduce 'Nature All Around'

Beneath the snow, Spring awaits. As nature makes this transition, children in K-4 can participate in Weir Farm's March Reading Ranger progam, Nature All Around, from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 13.

Join Park Ranger and Teach For America Alumna Emily Bryant for a read-aloud story in the farm's cozy historic barn, followed by a short nature walk at Weir Farm National Historic Site. After the walk, children can connect with Mother Nature herself by planting a seed in a creatively-designed pot.

Children must have a parent or guardian with them for the duration of the program. Reading Ranger is free of charge; registration is required.

For more informationo or to register, call 203-834-1896, ext. 12. Register now for Nature All Around or for the following session. Space is limited.
