Weir Farm Shares Founder's 'Nature of Love'

Discover "The Nature of Love" at from 12-1pm Saturday, May 1, with local scholar, poet, and volunteer Bonnie Tremante, as she discusses the love letters exchanged between artist Julian Alden Weir and his young fiancée Anna Dwight Baker. In the letters, Julian and Anna express their deep affection for each other, as well as their observations of nature and its relation to the developing bond between them.

Enjoy walking the spring landscape of Weir Farm National Historic Site, as you learn about the direct connection between art, love, and the landscape that was so fundamental to Weir's appreciation of his Branchville farm.
