News-Times: Wilton Teacher Arrested, Resigns for Stealing

The News-Times reports today that a teacher at Middlebrook School has resigned after being arrested for stealing from coworkers.

It looks as if Susan Dinnean, a former teacher at Middlebrook, will now have more than just summers off from school.

According to the News-Times, Dinnean resigned from her $95,000/year teaching position at the Wilton school after being arrested and charged with three separate counts of larceny for stealing from her coworkers.

Dinnean allegedly had been stealing money from another teacher's purse on various occasions since Oct. 15. The article mentions police officers and school officials confronted her after setting up a surveillance camera and supposedly catching her in the act.
