Preparing for the Advancing Storms

Hurricanes and hurrying-up for the start of school, the week in pictures captures Wilton on the go and getting ready for anything.

Wiltonians prepped for the coming onslaught, both of the meteorological and educational kinds. Stocking up on water with Hurricane Irene looming large meant Stop & Shop shelves were bare. Most people had already stocked up for the start of school, filling up carts with school supplies as well.

And residents kept enjoying the good weather in many other ways, while we still had it, whether walking with pets or at the annual Grange fair.
