Substance Abuse Prevention Event at WHS

The school will be hosting an event aimed at preventing the use of illicit substances and welcomes audience discussion.

The Conn. Parent Teacher Student Association in conjunction with will be a hosting a substance abuse prevention program tomorrow, May 22, from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the Zellner Gallery located within Wilton High School. This is a “Principal’s Coffee” event entitled “Substance Abuse: Education, Prevention, Intervention,” and will feature presentations conducted by a health teacher, the school resources officer, the substance abuse counselor and various administrators aimed at substance abuse prevention and intervention. Afterwards, the audience is encouraged to ask questions and participate in the discussion.

Parking will be available in the north senior lot and with some spots open in the Clune Center’s lot.
