With the beginning of a new school year on the horizon, many students are soon to be seeking places at which to volunteer their time, be it for a school requirement or simply the desire to give back to others.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CRISIS CENTER
Located in Norwalk, the Domestic Violence Crisis Center has helped more than 3,800 people in Fairfield County and beyond. The center—which offers programs to middle school and high school students—is always looking for volunteers. Are you a fan of the outdoors? The Nature Conservancy accepts volunteers to help protect nature and the environment. Those interested in volunteering should contact the conservancy at 203.226.4991.
HOMELESS SHELTERS
