WLA Youth Lacrosse Hosts "First Grade, First Sticks"
Over 100 first grade boys and girls were given a free lacrosse stick and instruction by high school players and coaches on Saturday.
The Wilton Lacrosse Association sponsored a "First Grade-First Sticks" event on Saturday, Oct. 26.
Over 100 first grade boys and girls were given a free lacrosse stick and instruction by high school lacrosse players and coaches.
Both John Wiseman, boys varsity coach, along with Meredith Meyran, girls varsity coach with help from their high school players showed the first graders how to play lacrosse.
All the kids – both young and old – had smiles on their faces playing the great game of lacrosse.
