Community Update

It took my leaving 3 messages over two weeks to ultimately get a return call to set up an appointment. Once I did I was told I needed to select two flavor options for my sample cakes that I would need to take home as they don't allow you to taste at their location. I did as instructed days before our meeting and eagerly awaited our appointment. The day before we were to meet I was left a message that they needed to cancel due to a personal issue. I understand these things happen. I was called again the morning of our appointment to confirm I had received the message canceling. The worst part was they said they were very busy and would call in "a few" weeks to reschedule. Since they knew our wedding was only 6 weeks away that would have left little time to find an alternate if needed. I can't comment further as they never did call to reschedule. We did find Great Cakes in Westport to be open, honest and very accommodating at a fraction of the cost to some other bakeries.
