Halloween Parade and Fun Run

A number of business will sponsor some active events on Halloween weekend.

The Wilton Chamber of Commerce and The Wilton Bank are presenting the annual Family Halloween Costume Parade and Trick or Treating as well as the Halloween Hustle 5K Road Race and Fun Run over the weekend of October 31-November 1.

On Saturday, October 31 the Halloween Costume Parade led by the Cat in the Hat will begin at 2:00 at the Gazebo in Wilton Center, followed by trick or treating at dozens of Wilton Center merchants. The Parade and trick or treating are free to the community.

On Sunday, November 1, the Halloween Hustle 5K Road Race and Kids Fun Run, also sponsored by the Wilton Bank, will begin check-in at 9:00 a.m. at the Chamber office (120 Old Ridgefield Road), with the race starting at 10:00 a.m. in front of the Chamber building.  The road race and fun run end at Merwin Meadows Park with a brief awards ceremony and the opportunity to purchase lemonade supporting the Key Club in Wilton. Online registration for the 5K can be made at www.active.com and day of race participants are welcome.

Immediately following the race, the ABC House of Wilton (Danbury Road location) will be holding an open house for runners to enjoy some food while getting a chance to tour the house and greet the students.

Besides the Wilton Bank other sponsors of the Halloween Parade and Road Race include.
