Letter to the Editor: Thanks for a Good Friday

The Trackside Teen Center's staff thanks participants and sponsors for making their Good Friday event a success.

To the Editor:

Do Something Good was Great.

Trackside, the Teen Center of Wilton would like to thank all the teens, 'tweens and adults who participated in our third annual "Do Something Good on Good Friday."  Over 50 youth and adult volunteers made more than 80 nutritious meals for homebound Wilton residents and for residents of Home of the Brave in Bridgeport, a safe house for homeless veterans.

We are lucky to live in a community that supports all our efforts to help our neighbors in need.

In addition, a big thank you goes to the organizers of this wonderful event, volunteers who delivered the meals, various civic groups who help recruit volunteers and to Stop and Shop for helping make this event a success.
