Wilton Announces Flu Vaccine Clinics

The Wilton Flu Response Team has posted the schedule for flu vaccinations in October and November.

With flu season fast approaching, the Wilton Flu Response Team has posted the schedule for upcoming flu vaccinations in October and November.

Wilton's locations include:

  • October 12 - Miller-Driscoll School - 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Octotober 17 - Wilton YMCA - 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • November 11 - Comstock Community Center - 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • November 27 - Wilton Library - 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Vaccines will cost $38 and all clinics are open to the public and subject to change.  Shots are provided on a first come, first served basis and there are no appoints or proof of residency necessary.

If you are under the age of 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian with you and pneumonia vaccines are also available to those over the age of 65 who have never received it.

It is important to point out that these vaccines are for normal flu strains only, not H1N1.  Even still, the Flu Response Team has articulated the importance of taking preventative measures again both viruses.
