Blue Star Bazaar Food Truck, STARS on Broadway, Manresa Island Public Meeting

  • Candlelight 2013: Presented by Norwalk High School Music Dept. at Albert Horne Memorial Auditorium on Monday, Dec. 16, Tuesday, Dec. 17, and Wednesday, Dec. 18. Doors close at 7:50p.m. and the concerts start at 8:00p.m. See ya there!

  • "Future of Manresa Island" public meeting on Wed, Dec. 18 at 7:00p.m. Following the anticipated closing of the Manresa Island Power Plant. Matters to be discussed include plant deactivation and security, environmental concerns, zoning issues, potential for future development at the site and other related issues. The meeting will be held in the Norwalk Police Department, Community Room, 1 Monroe St in Norwalk.

  • Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 7:00 p.m. Stars of Broadway will perform at Norwalk City Hall's Concert Hall. Theater on STARs, a theater group of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities from STAR, Inc., Lighting the Way… will present "STARs on Broadway," a performance of music, dance and theater. The Concert Hall is located at Norwalk City Hall, 125 East Avenue, Norwalk and is open to the public. Tickets are $3 in advance and $5 at the door. For tickets, call203-846-9581 ext. 339.
  • Here's something unique in Wilton at Blue Star Bazaar!

     Dec. 21, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Customers are invited to enjoy hot beverages, bakery treats, and sandwiches while Christmas shopping at Wilton's  Blue Star Bazaar will host the Granola Bar’s Food Truck outside of its shop location at 148 Danbury Rd.   The Granola Bar is a new restaurant in Westport created by Julie Levitt and Dana Noorily, co-founders of OATS Granola.  Blue Star Bazaar’s holiday hours are as follows:Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 am to 5:30 pm; Sunday noon to 5:00 pm Also open Monday, December 23 from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm and Christmas Eve 9:00 am to noon.  Closed Christmas Day.

  • Holiday Handbell Performance at Stepping Stones Museum, Saturday, December 21 at 2:00p.m. 

  • Norwalk Maritime Aquarium Scuba Santa visit, Thursday, Dec. 19. at  12:15 & 2:15 p.m. Santa will strap on scuba gear and enter the Aquarium’s 110,000-gallon “Ocean Beyond the Sound” exhibit, which is home to 7-foot sand tiger and lemon sharks.
  •  St. Paul's on the Green's choirs and soloists will perform the Christmas portion of Handel's beloved "Messiah," accompanied by a professional chamber orchestra on Sunday, December 22 at 5:00p.m. St. Paul’s on the Green is located at 60 East Ave. in Norwalk.
