Vista Road Property

<p>The Vista Road Property was originally purchased by the town of Wilton in 1966 as a future school site. However, due to decreases in school enrollment, the 36-acre property was not developed and the town began to blaze trails on the land in 1994.</p> <p>Marked by one small sign along Vista Road, the land is largely unmarked and is accessed by passing over a small stone wall. It is populated by oak, spruce and American Beech trees and has two wetlands. Maintained by the Wilton Land Conservation Trust, the land allows for both hiking and horseback riding.</p>
