Head of the IRS is another result of the Bush DISASTER Sandy honey bunny.
On the other hand,…Read More Republicans are not free from blame concerning this fiasco, given how the head of the IRS is a Bush appointee.
The Associated Press reported today that:
IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman told Congress in March 2012 that the IRS was not targeting groups based on their political views.
"There's absolutely no targeting. This is the kind of back and forth that happens to people" who apply for tax-exempt status, Shulman told a House Ways and Means subcommittee.
Shulman was appointed by President George W. Bush. His 6-year term ended in November. President Barack Obama has yet to nominate a successor. The agency is now being run by acting Commissioner Steven Miller.

There are 10 digits in a telephone number the first 3 are the area code. Newtown uses 203 and…Read More 475...the second group of 3 numbers relate to the city code. Newtown has several...so I am merely suggesting the NRA could have bypassed Newtown's city codes knowing full well the anti-gun lobby would jump all over them for ANY item.
Calls to other cities in Ct would then go thru.
But you did miss my point relating to the gun sale surge in Newtown since. Our senator's ignored this fact and we should not.

Ex Senator party bouncer Arlen Spector got Einhorn out on bail and he fled the country and escaped trial until he was caught and returned decades later.

Still, elected CT officials here voting against gun rights have to know that we gun owners (all 500,000+ of us) can support whatever challengers may arise, ever in primaries or general elections. Heck, if a nominally GOP official votes for a ban on black rilfes and magazines, I might as well vote for his/her Democrat challenger next cycle.
Scott Frantz and others don't understand that and would prefer to suggest "You are still better with me in Hartford" - really Scott?
