My son, Jeffrey Ragazzini, ran in the Marathon yesterday, although I think he registered as a…Read More Medford, MA resident. He was a cross-country and track long distance runner at Wilton High School, Class of '07. Jeff finished well ahead of the explosions, and is safe, for which I am very grateful.

All: A statement from Stephen J. Sedensky III, State’s Attorney for the Judicial District of…Read More Danbury, clarifies what several readers have pointed out as factual inaccuracies contained in the court documents. Sedensky's statement reads, in part:
"The released search warrants were obtained on December 14, 15, 16, 2012, within a short time of the shootings. Subsequent investigation revealed that shootings took place in two of the classrooms, not three, and that the shooter was not wearing a bullet-proof vest, nor was he a teenager."
The full statement may be found at the following link: http://www.ct.gov/csao/cwp/view.asp?a=1801&Q=521714
Given this information, I have corrected the article so that it now accurately reflects the facts as provided by authorities.

Gary, I believe there is one mistake in your article. You state:
"NRA registrations for both…Read More Nancy Lanza and Adam Lanza"
This is the first I have read " registrations" and I have reviewed each of the documents. Can you please provide the source or context?
The only two items I noted related to the NRA were a book and a "certificate" with the son's name. The book can be readily purchased by the general public through several venues or directly from the NRA. One does not need to be a member to own this book. The certificate is not a sign of membership and was likely awarded to the son through a safety or shooting competency program. My sons have several from completing NRA sponsored gun safety programs and one of my sons has an award for completing a target shooting program.
Further, the NRA has released a statement indicating that neither Lanza were members at the time of the massacre.
The other item is an erroneous description in the police report. As far as anyone can tell, there is no such thing as a firearm designated C183. The only thing found with such a designation is a camera. Small matter.

I'm sorry Jlo but do you know him personally? Do you know his family? If not, then get off your high…Read More horse. Yeah, he needs to pay for what he did and will, but he's also a very nice kid, always has been and has actually offered me something positive in my life.
Jlo March 28, 2013 at 04:53 pm
Seriously? You're accusing people of being monsters for being pro gun, yet you want a murderer to…Read More offer something positive to the world? The only positive thing he's going to be is worm food one day Lorna. This is the type of mentally ill person who becomes the next Lanza, Loughner, or Holmes, so maybe a little less compassion and a little more thanks that he is off the street is in order. It's terrible what happened to his family but he needs to pay for it and we are all safer now that the next time he's free to roam the streets he'll need a walker.

Cohort - I did not suggest that the above was evidence of you having more than one persona, just…Read More that it appears that Cohort may have several log-in profiles, assuming that I understand how the Patch profiles/log-in process works (i.e. different email addresses). So no, I have not presented proof other than to suggest that you MIGHT be using different log-in credentials just to be Cohort. If I am wrong, and you only log on as Cohort from a single email address, please say so to clear the record and I will drop the discussion.
BTW, where are Archie and Ronald Reagan and Patriot PJ and Rosie O'Grady and steve and Travis Bickle? Why aren't they coming to Cohort's defense since I am clearly beating up on him?

Wilton has some great police officers who are professional, well trained and above all kind. I've…Read More seen them respond to many different types of situations and do not believe they need your insults. Are you suggesting that they overlook petty crime? As far as the fire lieutenant, I can't speak of this, I have not heard that.

Funny how Skakel's admission of his guilt, apparently in his late teens or early 20s, is completely…Read More omitted from much of the coverage of his probation requests and this horrific crime. Helping with repairing infrastructure, aiding the impoverished and combatting litter could be among the things that Skakel could do to contribute to society -- not trying to mow down Mickey Sherman. I'd think that his association with the Kennedy clan would make public service rank somewhere on his agenda.
