It is also a great opportunity to meet your fellow Wiltonians who volunteer so much of their timeRead More and effort to serve on our boards and commissions.

And for those with kids playing Saturday morning sports, consider this.... For a modest sum you canRead More feed the family (Mom and Dad don't have to cook)!

Drink adequate amounts of water. Since the body may be ridding the body of too much fluid, the riskRead More of dehydration is increased. Consult a doctor if you are unsure of exactly how much water you should consume on a daily basis. Thanks for sharing. Regards, http://www.hcg1234.com/ | hcg1234.com

I agree with Amo. We should support the Board of Education. Bruce Likely is trying to be veryRead More transparent and he is helping the town so much. Everyone really likes him. At the hearing everyone thanked him and told him how happy they were to have him as chair. The old Board must have been awful.

If history is a guide, the new BOE will have a difficult time managing the entrenched interests atRead More the school. Let's face the realities: the school admin will resist efforts to obtain full disclosure on the spending/budgets. They will resist efforts to change the organizational structure at the school, resist efforts to streamline course offerings, resist efforts to change out stubborn/parochial staff, resist efforts to .... etc etc. So, the community MUST SUPPORT THE NEW BOARD as it tries to undo years and years of mismanagement that now masquerades as precedent. Its time for Richards to retire

Are Board of Ed meetings like the public hearings? Can anyone get up and say something? And BruceRead More Likely also on the PTA? I think it is so wonderful the way people give up their time to help the children.

I have to say, I am disturbed by two issues: 1) Has anyone asked how Dr. Brown is doing? (I hopeRead More well and recovered) 2) Note David Crays is making a profit off of his comments. Not a huge one....but still the precedent is troubling....he made a CHOICE to direct us to his website that he profits from. While it is great that the entrepreneurial spirit still exists in the USA, this was, in my mind, a very inappropriate way to show it.

Where is Cheryl JG in all of this? I find it interesting that she lead her VPs out to theRead More slaughter, not to mention, let a situation become a laughing stock. I have yet to talk to a single parent who has had a successful interaction with this woman. Why has Richards allowed her to remain principal? She is so ineffective and now it's showing...

There is a picture, on the Patch, of parents dressed up as famous women last April. They lookRead More ridiculous and happy and dedicated. They are the people who should be in charge of the PTA. The volunteers who are ready to pitch in, dress up, get dirty and have fun with and for the sake of the children. I'd like to see that entire board gone - enough. Grow up. Every school has the group of volunteers who think they are the only ones capable of running things properly; the ones who can really work with the administration; and the ones who want and need the praise. They wouldn't be caught dead as Betsy Ross or Betty Ford. Clearly all parties have way too much time on their hands - Facebook, blogging, letters - you all lost, and so did the school. We look ridiculous. A real lesson to other PTAs in what NOT to do - parking spaces? Pu-lease.
