Upon entering the shop and gallery, you'll find an elegant selection of high-quality frames and frame samples lining the walls. Past the store's front desk, the frame store gives way to an intimate, well-designed and beautifully lit high-end art gallery. The gallery hosts temporary exhibits of famous American paintings and sculptures and is also home to a permanent collection. The shop also offers a variety of art classes, including figure drawing, sculpture, calligraphy and egg tempera classes. Lessons are held in a classroom next to the gallery.</p> <p>Beardsley Gallery and Custom Framing also offers many services and activities for the community such as tea and chocolate on Saturday afternoons and wine tastings on the first Thursday evenings of every month. The store is also involved with the Save the Children Foundation and PAWS.</p>
