Wilton Station provides service on the Metro-North Railroad on the Danbury Branch of the New Haven Line and is just…More shy of 50 miles from Grand Central Station in New York City.</p> <p>The station has 212 total parking spaces, which typically do not require passes or payment, and travel time to New York is approximately 1.5 hours, depending on transfer times (there is usually one required in Stamford or South Norwalk).</p> <p>There is one ticket machine that is semi-sheltered from the elements and the platform provides an overhang that buffers rain and wind, as well, but generally the facility is open-air and wheelchair accessible, though there is no elevator. There is a small indoor facility that is currently closed. The station is located near the intersection of Routes 7 and 33 at 7 Station Rd., just down the road from the Trackside Teen Center.</p> <p>One-way tickets to Grand Central cost $13.50 during peak hours when purchased at the station and $10 off-peak. Round trip tickets are $27 during peak hours and $20 off-peak. Costs are significantly higher when purchasing tickets on board the train. Discounted fares are available for children, families and seniors, as well as multi-trip tickets. A weekly pass is available for $93, and a monthly pass costs $292.</p>
