Heather Borden Herve

About Heather

Heather moved to Wilton in 2007 and has spent most of her time since then in the car driving her children from one activity to the next.  Despite her family's busy schedule she has still been able to keep up with her interests in media, national and local politics, and pop culture.  She's giddy that Patch offered her a platform to write about her views.

No stranger to media before moving to Wilton, Heather worked for "Entertainment Tonight," TV Guide and Self, and was a long- and short-form TV/news/video producer in Chicago.

Sandwiched in between media gigs, Heather started a children's knitwear accessories business, la Folie.

Privately and publicly, Heather has increased her interest in what's happening in Wilton's schools. One of the ways she's getting involved is through the Wilton Education Foundation, where she serves as a Board Member. She also volunteers elsewhere in the Wilton community.

She enjoys trips to France to see her husband's family, dreaming of how she'd decorate her house, paying it forward, and watching her kids learn.  Oh, and imagining what the recommended 8 hours of sleep a night would feel like.

Heather, Mitt Romney "doesn’t have some titillating thing to hide in [his] past." He has been faithfully married to his beautiful wife Ann for over 42 years!

And I think it IS "a big deal" to consider having the 'first couple' be a man who twice proposed marriage to mistresses while he had not even asked the current wife for a divorce, AND Callista, who was his mistress for 6 years or more, before becoming his wife.

Ha ha ha I just finally saw your profile. I too live in the car and I hate it, personally. Nice to "meet" you.

Hi Heather.
Is your husband related to Catherine Herve' ? Or is Herve' a common name in France? I had a pen pal named Catherine Herve' for some years.. the internet, and kids, kinda killed my corresponding. Catherine is younger than me, so I'd say 30s maybe, she had an address with Broceliande in it (I forget if it was street or town... it was poetic to me as I had read a poetry cycle with the Forest of Broceliande in it) and she liked the cinema. But doesn't everyone in Europe like the cinema? lol
