In founding Fleur de Lis Academy, Ms. Sperry has realized her personal mission to positively enhance others, especially children and young adults.  With more than 24 years combined experience as an attorney, educator, entrepreneur, event planner, performer, philanthropist, artistic director and studio owner, and sales &amp; marketing specialist, she has presented numerous seminars, facilitated workshops, developed educational &amp; artistic programs &amp; camps, and pioneered and chaired numerous social and charitable events throughout Michigan, North Carolina and New England.  Utilizing her repeated successes in performing arts, education, and event planning and drawing on her life experiences as a mother of four, Ms. Sperry has created Fleur de Lis Academy with the purpose of inspiring children and young adults with quality programs and exceptional events.  Fleur de Lis has three exceptional divisions: Encore Performing Arts Center, First Impressions Contemporary Etiquette and Modern Manners, and Sweet Soirees.  Ms. Sperry is eager to bring her passion for dance, love of teaching and boundless energy as the Artistic Director of the Encore Performing Arts Center.  As a certified etiquette consultant, Ms. Sperry developed First Impressions as she believes that mastering important life skills are crucial to individuals in developing self-esteem and confidence, which ultimately guides individuals in reaching their own personal potential.  Combining her artistic sensibilities with professional training, Ms. Sperry imbues each of the Academy&#39;s programs and services with energy and creativity that is thoughtfully applied to the program&#39;s curriculum or the event&#39;s itinerary.  For the past nine years, Ms. Sperry has perfected sophisticated events for children and mommies-to-be featuring meticulous and coordinated decorations, incredible multi-course menus designed for both children and their chaperones, and entertainment with meaningful activities and mementos and she launched Sweet Soirees, all-inclusive celebrations at the Grande Fleur de Lis Ballroom facility with exclusive party faire, personalized accessories, coordinated table settings and centerpieces and exciting entertainment. 

Ms. Sperry earned an A.B. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. cum laude from New England School of Law.  Ms. Sperry was a scholarship recipient to the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy and has danced and performed with the Pennsylvania Youth Ballet Company, North Carolina School of the Arts, L&#39;Académie de Danse classique in Monaco, France, Nelson Curtis Ballet Company, Joan Malone Dance Company, the Boston Ballet II Company, and the Ann Arbor Civic Ballet.  Miss Teen of Michigan and Miss Michigan of the Year are some of the titles Ms. Sperry has held, as well as earning honors in competitive dancing, performing arts, cheerleading, swimming and diving.  She is an affiliate of the American Academy of Ballet and is professionally certified as an Etiquette Consultant with the Etiquette and Leadership Institution, an affiliate of the Protocol School of Washington and the American School of Protocol. 

Ms. Sperry now resides in Weston with her husband, Tim, and their four children, Isabella, Leonardo, Lilliana and Giovanni.
