The Knights of Columbus council 12698, representing OLF Parish in Wilton, St. Francis in Weston and St. Patricks in Redding, is holding their annual wine and beer tasting on Saturday October 19th, at 7 PM in the Parish Hall at St. Francis of Assisi PArish in Weston. There will be many fine wines from many countries and regions to sample and a nice assortment of beers along with a wonderful assortment of Hors Douvres.
Along with the fine food, wines and beers, there will be some delightful acoustical entertainment to further enhance the evening. The event this year is being held to benefit THE HOMES FOR THE BRAVE, and specifically two local homes that serve both our service men and service women returning from deployment, providing support and help for thos that have served so well and are now in need of the help of the very people whose freedom they serve to preserve.
There will also be a silent auction with many fine items up for bid, again, all to benefit THE HOMES FOR THE BRAVE.
The event is priced at $30.00 per person, or $50.00 per couple.
