Knights of Columbus Awards Scholarships to two Wilton Students

Congratulations are in order for Susanna Wendelboe and Ryan Dobos.

The Our Lady of Fatima Knights of Columbus Council 12698 recently presented scholarship awards to two Wilton students. 

The Mark Mooren Founder's Scholarship, a $1,000 award given to a graduating high school senior, was won by Susanna Wendelboe, who will be attending Villanova University this fall. 

The Kathleen Rooney High School Scholarship, a $500 award given to a student entering a Catholic high school in the fall, was won by Ryan Dobos, who will be attending Immaculate High School in Danbury.

Wendelboe and Dobos, parishioners of Our Lady of Fatima Church, each submitted an essay on "What it Means to be a Catholic," with a particular emphasis on the new challenges facing them in the coming school year.
