Wimbledon Champion Match, Wilton Playshop Auditions, Tea for a Cause

What's going on in and around Wilton? Quite a lot, including theater auditions and the 5th Annual All Out For Autism 5k Run/Walk.

Here's what's happening the week of August 19 in and around Wilton.

Tuesday, Aug. 20 

Bud & Bubble's Live Variety Show will take place at 8 p.m. at Osteria Romana (on the patio), 250 Westport Road, Norwalk. 

Bud Bower hosts wannabe stars to his cruise ship act on the Luxurious Poseidon Princess. The show features songs from Broadway, Pop Jazz and the American songbook. There is no cost to attend but organizers ask those who come to eat and/or have a drink at Osteria Romana.

Wednesday, Aug. 21

Members of the community are invited to enjoy afternoon tea at the Westport Center for Senior Activities. The event begins at 2 p.m. and proceeds go toward ITNCoastalCT, a transportation service serving Wilton, Weston, Westport, Fairfield, Easton and Norwalk.

Friday, Aug. 23

The men's doubles team Bob and Mike Bryan will come to the Lake Club in Wilton for a tennis exhibition at 5:30 p.m. The exhibition against Max Mirnyi and Horia Tecäu will benefit two children’s charities — Norwalk Grassroots Tennis and the National Tennis Foundation.
